Learn More

Internationally known as “The Songbird Of Love,” Elaine Stepter is an accomplished artist in the music industry. She recently released her 5th self-produced solo album, “Getting Back To Basics.” With her rich, sultry voice, she immerses listeners in a personal and emotional experience, making each song a reflection of her feelings. Her infectious vocals radiate pure joy, captivating all who hear her.

About

Elaine began her journey as a communicator of song in Los Angeles, where she was exposed to music and performing from a young age. In junior high, she formed a vocal trio called “Sweet Taste of Perfection,” which helped her develop her tonal and harmonic skills. Later, while studying piano and voice at the Eubanks Conservatory of Music, she showcased her exceptional talent for composing and released her first single, “Promises.”

Our Star

She not only continued to sing but also became an editor and columnist for Black Radio Exclusive Magazine. While she found satisfaction in that role, she realized she needed to focus on her music to grow as a vocalist. She aimed to be “on the scene” rather than behind it, developing as a singer, songwriter, and producer. Eventually, she released her second single, “I’ll Always Be A Part Of You,” following the hit “The Sweetness Of Your Love” from her first album and “Good Love” from the "Meteor Man" soundtrack.

Elaine

Elaine has traveled around world doing residence contracts for many years and plans to do a release party overseas to introduce her current project. In America Spain based Soul 4 Real Records who is a collector of classic soul has put 2 of her song on a 45rpm release. The A side is “Come See About Me,” and the B side is the incomparable “What Am I To Do,”!

Stepter

Elaine has collaborated with artists like Coolio, West Side Connection, and Jennifer Holiday. She toured with R&B groups “New Birth” and was a lead vocalist for “Rose Royce,” opening for acts like The Whispers and Stephanie Mills. Her third album, “The Woman I Am,” showcases her talents as a vocalist, songwriter, and producer. Elaine describes her music as heartfelt and sincere, aiming to connect with listeners through the power of words and melody. She hopes to not only entertain but also move people spiritually through her work.

Elaine Stepter - The Songbird of Love

Elaine Stepter

Following the release of her debut recording Elaine continued to sing. However, she also began her journey as an editor and columnist for Black Radio Exclusive Magazine.  Even though Elaine experienced tremendous satisfaction and experience there, she realized that strengthening her talent as a singer would put her “on the scene in the forefront” as opposed to being behind the scenes. Her development as a vocalist continued to sharpen, as well as becoming a songwriter and producer, which I must add Elaine excelled in after which she released her second single “I’ll Always Be A Part of You”.  Her recording of “The Sweetness of Your Love” which was a hit from her debut album, followed by “Good Love” featured on the soundtrack of the movie Meteor Man.

Elaine has travelled the world going to Europe and Asia performing during residency contracts for many years and will of course host a release party across the pond to introduce her current project as well as in Las Vegas and Phoenix. Spain based Soul 4 Real Records, a collector of classic soul recordings recently introduced her single Come See About Me on the “A” Side and What Am I To Do on the “B” Side of the record.  Bring back memories for anyone???.

Among her repertoire of performing with other well-known artists, Elaine has shared the stage with classic soul recording groups such as Coolio, West Side Connection and Jennifer Holiday. It does not stop there! She has also performed and travelled with R&B groups New Birth (Wildflower) and Rose Royce (Carwash) as a lead singer and background vocalist, opening for some of our favorite artists The Whispers, Stephanie Mills, Aaron Neville, Bobby Womack and the GAP Band. She has done several residency tours in Asia and the United States and who knows where the next stop will be.
